I love digital photography because of how accessible and quick it is. It's funny because those are the reasons a lot of visual artists I have met don't like it. Photography allows me to immediately connect with the experience at hand and share that with the world but mostly, myself. Right now, I am probably most immediately a photo journalist. I take photos of my life and then only do enough editing to them to show the experience in a way that closest resembles the mood and situation I was feeling. There is a reason why I took the photo in the first place and I don't want overediting to move my photography away from the moment that inspired the photo click. I use a Nikon D3200 to shoot and Lightroom and occasionally Adobe Photoshop to edit.
